Yoga Bikram Yoga is one of the variety of different kinds of yoga and is very physical, improving your health, physical body and spirital state. The aerobic style of Bikram Yoga is much more different than traditional yoga exercises and is named after Bikram Choudhry who was from Kolkatta, India.

Bikram Yoga started after Bikram had become a master in the Hatha Yoga and had opened up a number of training centers with his guru master Bishnu Gosh.

Heated Room

The room for the Bikram hot yoga exercises will be as high as ninety to one hundred degrees to facilitate the body to getting into a variety of poses. Since each posture is performed two times, the Bikram Yoga class can take ninety minutes and incorporate up to twenty-six different postures.

Since it requires the user to be quite physically fit, Bikram Yoga is not necessarily suitable for everyone and it is recommended that you attain the proper levels of fitness before doing this class. It is a good idea to do all the research you can to determine if Bikram Yoga is right for you before you try it for yourself.

Working to combine the spiritual and physical souls together, Bikram Yoga or “hot yoga” is popular with celebrities and personalities alike. You will need to have a glass of water before and not have a full stomach before you enter class, working on two breathing exercises and arranging twenty-six asanas or breathing exercises.

In order to release tension in the muscles, meditation and breathing exercises begin the class with breathing through the nose rather than the mouth. The reason why Bikram Yoga is performed in heated conditions is that heat as well as humidity makes you sweat which will help remove whatever toxins are there in the body and also by performing postures in a heated environment, it helps the muscles to relax and also enables performing postures that would otherwise not be possible.
